『The ShardingSphere Global Echo』是由 Apache ShardingSphere 社区出品，每周五定期更新来自海外最新的 ShardingSphere 声音，上期回顾点这里，本期为大家带来社区海外年终盘点。

作为一款国人主导的开源项目，Apache ShardingSphere 社区的视野并不局限于国内。通过践行全球化战略，Apache ShardingSphere 正在以行动展示“『开源』连接世界”的未来愿景。

在过去的 2021 年，Apache ShardingSphere 在海外平台多线发力，均取得了优异的成绩：

社交平台层面，Apache ShardingSphere 在 Twitter、LinkedIn 等海外主要社交媒体的影响力持续增强；

深度内容层面，Apache ShardingSphere 的深度文章也得到了许多海外技术媒体以及开发者的认可，其中有多篇文章在海外掀起了一定热度的讨论热潮；

活动层面，Apache ShardingSphere 开始频繁出现在各类海外技术峰会现场，参与了多场高规格的技术活动，并获得了大量关注。

社区成长

GitHub 成绩亮眼，多个社交平台快速成长

截至目前，Apache ShardingSphere 在 GitHub 上获得超 15K Stars，Contributor 由不足 200 增长至近 350 位，其中近半年海外贡献者增长 30+，贡献者增长率达 60%；

2021 年 Apache ShardingSphere 入驻 Slack，Reddit，LinkedIn 等平台。Twitter 粉丝数从不足 300 增长至近 1200，半年内 LinkedIn 粉丝增长近 900。

Alibaba Cloud ApsaraDB 发布一与 ShardingSphere 生态结合技术文章

Alibaba Cloud ApsaraDB 近日发布一篇 “Deploy Sharding Service with Apache ShardingSphere Proxy on RDS PostgreSQL” 在其 GitHub 项目 Readme 文档并将其制作为视频发布在 YouTube 平台。

Alibaba Cloud 官网 Document 已经收录 “Use ShardingSphere to develop ApsaraDB RDS for PostgreSQL” /《中间件 ShardingSphere 开发指南》。云原生关系数据库 ApsaraDB 兼容 MySQL、PostgreSQL 和 Oracle，专门为需要极致性能、高并发和自动伸缩核心业务数据库应用程序而设计。目前 ApsaraDB RDS PostgreSQL 可支持中间件 ShardingSphere，部署 Apache ShardingSphere 后可实现其数据分片、读写分离、分片策略定制化、无中心化分布式主键等功能。
