8. Final Notes

8.1. GtkTextView in gtk-demo

The gtk-demo which is distributed along the GTK+ library contains a demo on the GtkTextView and friends. It demonstrates some stuff that we have dropped here, like multiple views for a single buffer. It also has a demo on hyperlinking.

8.2. GtkSourceView

If you want to display/edit source code, you might consider using GtkSourceView and friends. They extend the GtkTextView widget, adding functionalities like

Indentation
Syntax Highlighting
Bracket Matching
Line numbering

Yazy: 本人也同意上，C++的每一个元素都有存在的理由。“存在便是合理”已经成为一种常识。C++的每一个元素都有自己的专长，很多我还没有发现到，发挥各家之长，灵活组合是C++与其它语言吸引人的一点。这种灵活组合表现出来的常常是程序员的创造力。 <br> <br>可能我的题目不对，有否定重载的意思。我没有要反对使用“重载”的意思，这也是不可能的，有些情况下模板做不到重载可以做的事情，像楼上所说的Operator重载，还有New重载。 <br> <br>本文只是我在生活中想到的一处重载与模板的差异，或者说是在上面那种情况下的好坏。我想在某些地方有些时候使用模板来实现会比较好，重载或者其它元素当然也可以实现。很多功能C++中都有不止一种元素可以实现，至于哪里可以哪里不可以便有待我们去发现、学习了…… <br> <br>我喜欢C++。 <br> <br>
用template来替代重载
tcxxs: 不可否认TEMPLATE的确是一种很好的编程方法，STL就是以此扩展并完善的。 <br> <br>但是作者想以此来代替重载，我认为是不可取的。 <br> <br>1、从功能上来看，首先重载函数可以OPRATER。 <br>2、从定义来看，重载可以实现参数数量不同的情况。 <br>3、从使用来看，重载函数不需要实例化，对于提供给用户的INTERFACE来看，重载函数是有优势的，但是就开发人员来看的确编程比较繁琐。
