Solution 1. Edit the following file and locate the line that defines the credentials property for the ias_admin user: (Make a backup of the file first) %ORACLE_HOME%\sysman\j2ee\config\jazn-data.xml The following example shows the section of jazn-data.xml with the credentials entry in boldface type: enterprise-manager ias_admin rJqp85BkhFwAyw9ddl0PnFlU BVaWzbfT 2. Remove the entire line that contains the property from jazn-data.xml. 3. Type the following command from the DOS Command window: %ORACLE_HOME%\bin\emctl set password reset 4. Restart the iasconsole: %ORACLE_HOME%\bin\emctl stop iasconsole %ORACLE_HOME%\bin\emctl start iasconsole Another way to reset the iasconsole password is as follows: 1. Stop the ias console: %ORACLE_HOME%\bin\emctl stop iasconsole 2. Update the file %ORACLE_HOME%\sysman\j2ee\config\jazn-data.xml as shown below: enterprise-manager ias_admin ! Make sure to prefix the password with an exclamation mark (!). 3. Restart the iasconsole: %ORACLE_HOME%\bin\emctl start iasconsoleRestart iASConsole 4. Login into the Enterprise Manager Admin Console with the new password.
