CodeWars-Sum of Numbers

Given two integers a and b, which can be positive or negative, find the sum of all the numbers between including them too and return it. If the two numbers are equal return a or b.

Note: a and b are not ordered!

def get_sum(a,b):
    #good luck!
    if a == b:
        return a
    else:
        if a > b:
            a, b = b, a
        result = 0
        for num in range(a,b+1):
            result += num
        return result

首先判断两数是否相等,两数相等,返回a
不相等,返回累加结果
因为range()是前闭后开的,累加中需要包含b,边界为b+1
Note: a and b are not ordered!
a,b是无序的,若不判断大小直接使用,会导致有可能result=0
判断大小

if a > b:
   a, b = b, a
