How to create a UCM Project VOB(PVOB) in Rational ClearCase?

1. Open VOB Creation Wizard 

From one of the following ways:

<1>"ClearCase Home Base->VOBs->Create VOB" 

<2>"Windows->All Programs->IBM rational ClearCase->Administration->Create VOB"

2. Input the information about the VOB

name & comment & VOB type

If nothing is selected, the Base Clearcase VOB will be created

If the first selection is selected, Component VOB will be created. 

If the second selection is selected, UCM project VOB will be created.

3. Select the server you want to store the VOB:

4. Select "None", while creating PVOB always:

5. After finish creating, the following summary message will pop up:

 

 

6. The newly created PVOB could be checked from Project Explorer:
