That's a sentiment that Weetwood Hannas Fashions on the Field judge Karen Wade shares too.

Mrs Wade, who enters mostly regional competitions, won last year's Fashions on the Field competition and absolutely enjoys the process of planning her outfit.

She spoke to The Chronicle ahead of today's Weetwood race day in order to share tips for those planning their outfits.

For autumn, that meant no sleeveless outfits and nothing inspired by summer or spring.
