Iotop 是一个用来监视磁盘 I/O 使用状况的 top 类工具。如下图所示，Iotop 具有与 top 相似的 UI，其中包括 PID、用户、I/O、进程等相关信

Iotop 使用 Python 语言编写而成，要求 Python 2.5（及以上版本）和 Linux kernel 2.6.20（及以上版本）。

Iotop 提供有源代码及 RPM 包，可从其官方主页下载。

   一直用iotop这个工具，记得好像要2.6.24的内核以上才有这个功能

   我是noob+newbie，谁能告诉我脚本的速度，编译代码的程序的速度，以及Java这种半编译半解释的程序的速度，到底如何排序？谢谢大家！

   @Hao Zhe XU: 小程序的话，编译和解释的速度差别不大，至于 java …… 那龟速是由它的工作原理决定的，囧。

   nmon 测试了. 有许多地方不准确.
   数字读取 (应该 human readable, 数字对齐也不对劲) 上不如 top 和其它一些工具,
   扩展性几乎没有.
   如果喜欢和数字打交道的话, 那个难看的图有和没有一样.

   我觉得 java程序与python程序最主要的缺点是 太耗内存。
   如果在内存足够的情况下，java程序比python程序略慢，还可以忍受。

    每种语言有它自身的有它自身的优点和缺点，有它的应用范畴。
    知道这点，你会明白为什么现在 Linux 中 python 程序越来越多的原因。
