Magento can't checkout and add product to cart in IE and Chrome

In order to test the checkout style of the new project, I have to check it work correctly in IE, Chrome, FF.

But on my local environment, I can't add product to cart. It's always will go to the no-route page when I add product with IE and Chrome. The information I found:

Server system: centos

 

The reason:  The time zone of server is different with the megento's. you can get the current server timezone infomation like all the list command;

1.  vi /etc/sysconfig/clock
2. date

Solution: Change the timezone of server.

1. tzselect (choose the time zone you want to set)
2. cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia(first zone)/Shanghai(second zone) /etc/localtime
3. Change the Time: #date -s 08/24/2010 (date)
                                #date -s 13:02:00(time)
                                OR #date -s "24 Aug 2010 13:02：00"
4. Change the clock file: vi /etc/sysconfig/clock
                                           ZONE="Asia/Shanghai"
                                           UTC=false
                                           ARC=false
   Change the ZONE attribute to the timezone you want
5. Write the time into bios: #hwclock OR #clock -w
6. You also advice to change the system-configuration-web-Session Cookie management-Cookie Lifetime to a bigger number
