二描述

OCM考试用到了GC.于是想把学到的用在工作环境中.目的很简单,用跑在vmware上的 RHEL4.8 32bit 10201 GC 监控测试环境 RHE5.4 64bit 10204DB. (步聚1操作思想出错,示成功,这里仅做记录.请直接略过从步聚2开看.)
步骤1 已经有一个跑在32bit的rhel4.8系统上的10201GC存在.想把此gc的agent装到 64bit的 rhel5.4系统上.结果不成功.
步骤2 一切重新来过,在rhel4.8 32bit系统重新安装10201GC,然后升级到10204GC,再在要监控的机器上安装相应平台相应版本的agent. 需要用到的安装包.

四步骤

1. 由于GC用已经安装完毕的.现将agent从服务端下载下载到DB OS上安装. 在DB OS上运行agentDownload.linux

个人总结

1. 第一个错误由于GC用的是32bit的.传到DB OS端的也是32bit的.但DB OS是64bit的.不匹配两者.所以装不成功.
2.GC安装与OCM培训时环境一样.所以不存在问题.升级时按照升级文档操作.不会有问题发生.agent安装时由于官方文档的链接打不开,因此找到了参考文档中提到的链接写的rsg文件.一次成功.这里谢谢作者.
