 前面博客里已经安装好了 Object Server、Probe、还有gateway组件，接下来进行配置，使各组件运行起来。

首先创建Object server DB，linux和windows版本的操作系统创建的方法如下

创建object server DB，执行以下命令 NCOMS是系统默认的server名字

新建完成后进行手动启动Object Server，方法如下

 

执行命令

[root@Omnibus bin]# ./nco_objserv

Netcool/OMNIbus Object Server - Version 7.3.1

Server 'NCOMS' initialised - entering RUN state.

 

使用xigen工具配置omnibus接口

 

执行./nco_xigen

[root@Omnibus bin]# ./nco_xigen

/opt/IBM/tivoli/netcool/omnibus/platform/linux2x86/bin/nco_xigen: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

 

解决方法

把hostname改成对应机器名，此处都在一台机器上。

点test进行测试

启动Ominous配置管理器

执行./nco_config –server NCOMS

单击next

把需要配置的连接移动到右边

单击finish后出现如下界面

输入用户名root 密码默认为空

配置界面可以实现以下配置功能，比如创建数据库，修改表结构，修改配置信息等等。

启动 probe，执行如下命令

[root@Omnibus probes]# ./nco_p_syslog -server NCOMS

启动图形管理界面conductor，也就是desktop组件

[root@Omnibus bin]# ./nco

root 密码默认为空

目前没有事件，list里面都是空的。

至此，Omnibus基本安装完成，后续可以根据业务需求配置probe进行触发事件，并且可以将事件传送给remedy进行处理。
