Austin — who was ceremonially drafted by the NBA at the Draft back in June — tells us Silver already hooked him up with part-time gig with the league’s NBA Cares program … and promised full-time work once he gets his degree.Austin was in New York City for the 2014 NBA Draft, where he was honored by commissioner Adam Silver. It was one of the best moments of the entire sports year, and the promise Silver made then isn't changing: get your degree and we will give you a job.Luckily for Austin, his former head coach at Baylor, Scott Drew, offered him a coaching job with the Bears.
