When I was young, I ever saw some pictures shows that earth was a global, I knew it was right for it was from a text book, but I could not be convinced by it until I got to know something called gravity. I was afraid of what if the gravity disappears someday, and all the people could not hold themselves on the ground and fly away. Before I got to understand the gravity is created by matter, somebody told me that no one knew whether there nor where is a/the border of the space, and I gave him a solution, that is, throwing out a radio based telephone in the space, equipping sensors on it, just let it fly or fall down in the outer space, and someday latter, it will touch to the border of the universe, and then we will get to know the border of the universe by the radio something on it.

As I remember the last lesson of the textbook of Nature in my primary school tells that the universe is unlimited on dimension, exists from unlimited ever to for ever. When I was in middle school, I read some books discussing the lives out of the earth and some books about stars with its evolution.

With the gravity theories, I easily concluded that there must be something wrong, before I graduated from high school. The gravity converges all matter together, if it is given enough time (unlimited is of cos enough), then all the things should have came together in a same place, then there should no distance from star to star. But if it is like this, where is this point? And, is this point the center of the universe? If you consider with something unlimited, it seems that you can’t decide any a place in it to be such a place, for there is no center in something with unlimited dimension.

When I entered the high school, the biology lesson tells us, all the lives came from the carbon and water, accidentally compounded and constructed by the nature, while there was nobody could repeat such a step till that time, and the teacher told us that the DNA seemed to be designed perfectly and accurately, it is so complex, and can duplicate itself in a alive cell. Somebody says that the brain of human being is the most complex machine on the earth, and nobody knows how it works exactly. And everybody knows that a human being life grows up from a sperm and an ovum, with four pairs of DNA, so I asked myself who is the more complex one between the DNA and the brain, and how four chains of DNA can evolve out so complex a brain on my body.

When I entered the university, there were more questions, more doubt with the knowledge been taught. Step by step, I concerned personal problems more than those common questions for all the persons in this world, but I got confused when I was dealing with the private, personal or social problems, it seems that all things around us are related if you can think things in a greater context. If you do not think things in a greater scope, you always get wrong result which seems to be right in the normal scope, but not right with considering of a greater scope.

In common life, we just care about the things around us, for example, just my family and my work, something in the city where I live in, something about the country which I belong to. It seems that I have not any interesting to think the earth, the planet where we are living on which is cycling around the sun, and the sun is cycling around the kernel of the galaxy, and it seems that the galaxy is floating in the universe. It seems too far from our real life, but when I deeply think about the destiny of human being lives, I could not get any a good result without thinking in such a huge dimension and scope.

I read some sentence that I think is very clear to deal with my problems, that is:

"Man must understand his universe in order to understand his destiny. Who knows what mysteries will be solved in our lifetime and what new riddles will become the challenge of the new generations?"

And, the reason why I write down these ideals upon is that there are too many people living in a too limited view point about the world around us, they just care about the money and person around them, they cares very a little about the universe. For I think the Chinese people are so limited on the education of a global view to the universe and things around us, for me, I feel that I am living in a very hard circumstance, where just few people can understand and want to talk with me on those points. I am so disappointed with it, so I decided to do something to change it if it is possible.

I ripped pictures and the audio from a DVD named Cosmic Voyage, which was produced in 1996, for a Space Museum in USA, and patched and compressed them together to be a still picture film by MS Windows Movie Maker. In this way, the film is in a very smart size which is possible to be uploaded in this blog site.

This DVD is so well done, you will have an entire continuous voyage from the smallest to the largest portion of the whole universe, and it is described briefly for it was designed for the children for most. But, still you could get lots of useful information and very special experience even you are grow up.
