Objective

The main purposes of the International Conference on business intelligence and financial engineering (BIFE’2008) are to exchange information and ideas on business intelligence and financial engineering, to promote a higher academic level of business intelligence and financial engineering, and meantime to provide an international forum for experts from academia in the field of business intelligence and financial engineering from universities throughout the world, as well as business practitioners and senior management from industry can discuss current focus problems, new modeling approaches and future alternative solutions.

We publicly invite domestic or abroad scholars or experts to submit papers or reviews with originality, and unpublished by journals.

Publication

All accepted papers will be published by Atlantis Press in France(Papers will have permanent DOI number, and be indexed by EI and ISTP). If get pass by referees after Conference, the excellent paper will be published in the Special issue of Journal of Applied Computational Intelligence and International Journal of Computational Sciences.

Papers Contribution

The deadline for submission is May 30, 2008. The contributed paper should be unpublished research results and written in English. Please typeset according to template provided by Atlantis Press(http://www.atlantis-press.com), not more than six pages. Please send your paper to bife2008@yahoo.cn , wfh@amss.ac.cn

Conference Fees

1．Publication cost. Layout fees is ￥1800 if not more than six pages, and each additional page costs￥100.

2．Registration fees. The conference will last 2 days. Every participant needs to pay ￥800, including conference registration fees, conference information materials, dining fees, and travel costs, etc. Student fee is ￥400 (verification required),for authors in Mainland China. for authors from oversea countries：full registration: 300 Euros；Student registration:250 Euros.
