GM Global Delta / D2XX

Delta was first born in 2003, developed by the GM North American R & D center, mainly for the North American market. Similar to the popular PQ35 platform, the platform is limited to Class A vehicles. But in order to compete with competitors, the general integration of Delta and Theta (SUV models) platform advantage, followed by the introduction of the D2XX platform, mainly used in the Buick Angkor, Chevrolet new Cruze and other models. D2XX platform is actually a new generation of Delta platform. Mercedes-Benz MFA platform is Mercedes-Benz in the 125th anniversary of the release. Although it is called a precursor platform, MFA can be applied to a four-wheel drive system. Compared to the previous generation platform, MFA before and after the suspension were used before the McPherson and after the multi-link structure. At the same time, can also be extended to different levels of models. So, the platform not only can provide better handling of the vehicle, but also has a strong flexibility. At the same time, MFA can be placed 1.6T, 2.0T turbocharged gasoline engine and 1.8T turbocharged diesel engine. In addition, in order to adapt to market competition, Mercedes-Benz is developing second-generation MFA platform.
