POSITION TITLE     : Business System Analyst

LOCATION               : Zhuhai

RESPONSIBLE TO  : IT Manager-based in Shanghai

A world-leading manufacturer of coding, printing and laser marking products, fluids, and accessories for the product identification industry.  Markets include: food, beverage, pharmaceutical, automotive, aerospace, electronics sectors.  Has over 275,000 units installed worldwide.  Sales, service, training, administrative and application support is provided by direct operations worldwide.  The distribution network includes over 175 distributors and OEMs, serving 135 countries.  The mother company is a $10 billion company that designs, manufactures and markets products and services with strong brand names.  Products cover instrument, industrial technologies, tools and components.

 

The Job

l        Responsible for providing Oracle application support to the China Sales company and providing a regional presence for timely development and response to system requirements.

l        Responsible for the design and implementation of effective cross functional integrated business systems and processes.

l        Coordinate with functional users, business leads, and development team to insure thorough testing and effective implementation of set up controls.

l        Organize and lead team focus groups / workshops to document processes and identify improvement opportunities. Work with users to prioritize business improvements identified and implement changes per prioritization.

l        Manage issue analysis and resolution process.

 

  

The Incumbent

l        Bachelor’s Degree in information systems or related work experience.

l        Minimum, 3 to 5 years experience with Oracle Applications functional implementation and support.

l        Good analytical and problems solving skills.

l        Oracle application functional experience.

l        Written and spoken Mandarin Chinese and English language skills required.

l        Experience with Oracle release 11i (11.5.10 preferred) and/or 12i.

l        Expect up to 10% travel between Zhuhai and local satellite office.

l        Oracle tool knowledge, especially Oracle Discoverer, SQL*PLUS and PL/SQL is a plus.
