kernel_version: in 1994 version 1.0 and in 1996 version 2.0
major_version : the major revision of the kernel. even numbers indicate a stable release. odd numbers indicate development releases.
minor_version : the minor revision of the kernel. 在2.6.8之前，当security patches, bug fixes, new features, or drivers在内核中实现时minor_version会改变
2.6.8及其以后，仅当new drivers or features被引入内核会改变，其它改变由patch表示。
patch ：first occurred when a fatal error in version 2.6.8, so 2.6.8.1 was released. with version 2.6.11, the addition of the patch number was
adopted as the new official versioning policy. Bug fixes and security patches are now managed by this fourth number.
