Microsoft SQL Server 2000 至少需要下列系统组态。

注意：假如你执行 Microsoft Windows Server™ 运作系统的 64 位版本，则须使用 SQL Server 2000 企业版（64位）。额外数据请浏览 SQL Server 2000 （64位）系统需求网页。

基本需求

处理器

Intel Pentium 或兼容的 166 MHz 或更快的处理器。

操作系统

SQL Server 2000 企业版及标准版可在以下操作系统上运行：

•	Windows Server 2003 标准版1
•	Windows Server 2003 企业版1
•	Windows Server 2003 Datacenter 版1
•	Windows® 2000 Server
•	Windows 2000 Advanced Server
•	Windows 2000 Datacenter Server
•	Windows NT® Server version 4.0 含 Service Pack 5 (SP5) 或以上版本
•	Windows NT Server 4.0 Enterprise Edition 含 SP5 或以上版本

SQL Server 2000 试用版及开发人员版可在以下操作系统上运行：

•	以上列出之操作系统的企业及标准版
•	Windows XP 商用版
•	Windows XP 家用版
•	Windows 2000 Professional
•	Windows NT Workstation 4.0 含 SP5 或以上版本

SQL Server 2000 个人版2及 SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE)可在以下操作系统上运行：

•	以上列出之操作系统的企业、标准、试用及开发人员版
•	Windows Server 2003 Web 版1 (只限 MSDE)
•	Windows 98
•	Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me)

•	企业版：64 MB RAM；建议 128 MB。
•	标准版：64 MB。
•	评估版：64 MB；建议 128 MB。
•	程序开发版：64 MB。
•	个人版：Windows XP 128 MB；Windows 2000 64 MB；其它操作系统 32 MB。
•	MSDE: Windows XP 128 MB；Windows 2000 64 MB；其它操作系统 32 MB。

硬盘4

企业版、标准版、评估版、程序开发版和个人版需要：

•	服务器需要 95–270 MB 可用硬盘空间，一般安装需要 250 MB。
•	Analysis Services 基本安装需要 50 MB 可用硬盘空间；一般安装需要 130 MB。
•	Microsoft English Query 需要 80 MB 可用硬盘空间。

MSDE requires 需要 44 MB 可用硬盘空间。

其它装置

•	Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 版或新版。
•	Microsoft Windows 95、Windows 98、Windows Me、Windows NT 4.0 和 Windows 2000 含内建式网络软件。如果使用 Banyan VINES 或 AppleTalk ADSP，还需要其它网络软件。Windows 型网络 NWLink 通讯协议，提供 Novell NetWare IPX/SPX 客户端支持。

客户端支持：

•	支援 Windows 955、Windows 98、Windows Me、Windows NT Workstation 4.0 和 Windows 2000 Professional。
•	UNIX、Apple Macintosh 和 OS/2 需要合作厂商的「开放式数据库连接 (ODBC)」客户端软件。

¹ Windows Server 2003 需安装妥 SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 3 或以上版本。

² SQL Server 2000 个人版是供桌面和行动装置使用。个人版不包含标准版的完整功能。详细资料，请参阅选择您的版本页。个人版中的 Analysis Services—包含「在线分析处理」(OLAP)、数据采撷和其它数据仓储功能 - 不能安装在 Windows 98 或 Windows Me 上。
