If you’ve been to YouTube recently, you might have noticed a bar going across the bottom of the screen that shows recommended videos and lets you autoplay them—but there’s no quick way to get rid of it, and nothing in the settings. Here’s how.

Get Rid of it With a User Script (Firefox or Chrome)

If you’re using Firefox and you want to get rid of this bar, you can use a user script along with the Greasemonkey extension. If you’re using Google Chrome, user script support is built right in and all you have to do is head over to this user script and click the Install button.
