英语中how much 和 how many 分别是什么意思？

都是 提问 XX (某物) 多少个的意思，所修饰词的不同
how much + 不可数名词 有多少？ how much用来修饰不可数名词，表示数量，也可单独使用。
how many + 可数名词复数形式  有多少个？ 记忆口诀：how many在句首,名词复数跟着走,一般问句紧相随,其它成分不要丢。

how much与how many的区别在于：how many  后接可数名词复数形式，而how much 后接不可数名词。例如：

how many:

如:some, five, only one等提问时,如果主语是可数名词,不管主语是单数还是复数一般都用复数形式提问,因为问话人不知道具体的数量是多少,而且many只能接可数名词复数形式,所以be一定要用are.即用How many+可数名词复数+are there+地点/时间状语 的句型结构.例如:

How much：多少，什么价钱，到什么程度;

(1)用来询问事物的数量，后接不可数名词.例如：
  －How much milk is there in the glass? 玻璃杯里有多少牛奶？

  －How much bread is there on the table?桌子上有多少面包？

  －How much time do we have? 我们有多少时间？

(2)用来询问事物的重量。例如：
  －How much does the pig weigh 这头猪多重？ －Eighty kilos.八十公斤。

  －How much do you want to buy? 你想要买多少？－Two kilos.两公斤。

(3)用来询问数字计算的结果，相当于what。例如：
   －How much is three plus one?三加一等于多少？－It's four.等于四。

  －How much is eight minus three?八减三等于多少？－It's five.等于五。

  －How much is three plus two 三加二等于多少？ －It ’s five.等于五。

(4)用来询问某物的价钱、价格。可单独使用，也可构成词组how much money，但英语中常省略money.例如：

    最地道的问价格方法就是：How much？

   －How much is it?这个多少钱？
   －How much is it?它多少钱？
   －How much are they?它们多少钱？
       另外还可以说：What's the price of it?它的价格是多少？
       或者：I wonder its price.我想知道它的价格。
      或者：May I know its price?我可以知道它的价格吗？

   －How much do you pay for it? 你支付多少钱？

   －How much are the pencils?这个铅笔多少钱？

   － How much is your new computer?你的新电脑多少钱？

   －How much (money ) did you pay for the English grammar book?买这本英语语法书，你付了多少钱？

   －How much would you pay? 你能为此付出多少？

   －How much will you need?你需要多少钱养老？

   －How much should you save?你需要储蓄多少呢？

   －How much is down there?那么下面有多少呢？

   －How much seafood is recommended?海鲜的推荐度几何？

（注意：how much询问价格时，它的回答若是中国的货币单位应采用汉语拼音yuan,fen来表示，几角常采用几十分来表示，字母用小写，且不用复数。例如：
     －How much is the eraser? 这块橡皮擦多少钱？－Ninety two fen.九角二分。）

在买卖过程中，买方觉得太贵不买，常用That's much too dear.作答。如果觉得比较合适，常用That's (very,quite cheap.

注意：（1）how much 后接be动词时，be 是单数还是复数，取决于be之后的名词。例如：

  －How much are the parrots?这些胡萝卜多少钱？－Two yuan a kilo.两元一公斤。

  －How much is this coat ?这件大衣多少钱？－One hundred and fifty-three yuan. 一百五十三元。

一、加法

  “加”用plus，and或add表示；“等于”用is，make，equal等词表示。
  1 + 1 = ？可表示为：How much is one plus two?
  1 + 2 = 3 可表示为：
  One plus two is three.
  One and two is equal to three.
  One and two make(s) three.
  One added to two equals three.
  If we add one to / and to, we get three.

二、减法

  “减”用minus或take from表示。
  9 - 3 = ？可表示为：How much is nine minus three?
  9 - 3 = 6 可表示为：
  Nine minus three is six.
  Take three from nine and the remainder is six.
  Three (taken) from nine is six.

三、乘法

  “乘”可用time（动词）或multiply表示。
  2 × 3 = ？可表示为：How much is two times three?
  2 × 3 = 6 可表示为：
  Two times three is six.
  Multiply two by three, we get six.
  Two multipied by three makes six.

四、除法

  “除”用divide的过去分词形式表示。
  15 ÷ 3 = ？可表示为：How much is fifteen divided by three?
  15 ÷ 3 = 5 可表示为：
  Fifteen divided by three is five.
  Fifteen divided by three equals / gives / makes five.

五、其他算式的写法和读法

  1：2 读作 the ratio of one to two
  15：3 = 5 读作 The ratio of fifteen to three equals five.
  3的平方 读作 three squared
  2的立方 = 8 读作 Two cubed is eight.
  X的四次方 = Y 读作 The fourth power of X is Y.
  4开平方 = 2 读作 The square root of four is two.
  8开立方 = 2 读作 The cubic root of eight is two.
