FFMpeg编码提示gcc出错问题

从官网上下了ffmpeg编译了下提示一下错误：

编译环境：Ubuntu14 32bit

ffmpeg版本：2.3.git

root@virtual-achine:/home/ffmpeg# ./configure --enable-shared --prefix=/usr/local/ffmpeg/

gcc is unable to create an executable file.
If gcc is a cross-compiler, use the --enable-cross-compile option.
Only do this if you know what cross compiling means.
C compiler test failed.

If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the latest
version from Git.  If the latest version fails, report the problem to the
ffmpeg-user@ffmpeg.org mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on irc.freenode.net.
Include the log file "config.log" produced by configure as this will help

solve the problem.

换了Ubuntu 64bit系统编码一切正常，编译成功。这个是与系统有关系吗？虽然问题解决了，不知为啥。

哪位大神解释下。
