CSCI 112 ICE C++ EXAM

The knowledge and skills required to pass the exam include the imperative and object-oriented aspects of C++, and the

skill to use these concepts in a programming application.

The exam consists of two parts: a written component focusing on the topics listed above, and a coding assignment

requiring the writing of a program in C++ typical of the “end of semester” projects in CSCI 112. The written exam

consists of fill-in-the-blank, True/False, Multiple Choice, and questions requiring the reading of code segments and

explaining their output, or writing of code segments to perform a specific task (e.g., creating a simple class). The coding

assignment must be completed in two days. The written exam contains approximately 35 questions.
