Installation memo of SVN(Subversion)

1) Install svn-1.4.3-setup.exe
2) Copy SVNService.exe to Subversion\bin directory
3) Install TortoiseSVN client
4) Create Database
- Use command prompt
:: I want to create the db into f:\temp\1 directory
svnadmin create "f:\temp\1"
- Use TortoiseSVN
5) Modify conf\svnserve.conf
:: Uncomment the following line
[general]
anon-access = read
auth-access = write
password-db = passwd
6) Modify conf/passwd
:: Uncomment the following line
:: Add user name and password
[users]
harry = harryssecret
sally = sallyssecret
7) Install service
:: Run the following command
svnservice -install -d -r "f:\temp\1"
:: Set service configuration
sc config svnservice start = auto
net start svnservice
8) Check svn
svn ls svn://localhost/
