Why is the "DEBUG: Error 2836" message generated in the DB2 V8, V9.1, or V9.5 installation log file on Windows system?

The following error message is generated in the installation log file after DB2 V8, V9.1, or V9.5 was successfully installed on Windows system.DEBUG: Error 2836: The control image_noJava on the dialog SetupInitialization cannot take focusInternal Error 2836. SetupInitialization, image_noJavaWhat does it indicate? Does it cause any problem?

This message is generated by Windows Installer, not by DB2 install code. It indicates that a GUI control was not displayed on the install initialization panel, but does not indicate that DB2 installation failed or got some problems because of this. It is not a DB2 installation error and can be safely ignored.
