Magento首页左侧显示商品菜单导航栏

注：（此文magento版本为1.4.1.0，所选用模板为modern），在此给出其中一种办法，实现网站首页左侧显示商品菜单导航栏（网站主菜单（包括商品菜单）依旧在网上上方导航栏上）。
1、打开 app/design/frontend/default/modern/layout/catalog.xml，在适当位置加入以下代码：

2、在 app/design/frontend/default/modern/template/catalog 下新建 catalog.phtml 文件，其内容为以下代码：
