teamcenter富客户端基于c/s架构。client和server都可以被客制化。client是用户接口层（UI layer），使用java语言进行构建和客制化。server层可以使用ITK和c语言进行客制化。本手册介绍了通用的客制化client的技术与工具，以及客制化server的用户（User）服务技术

PLM软件不支持使用未发布的和未证明的APIs或者扩展点（extension points）进行代码扩展（code extensions）。

前提：（必须遵循下列安装来客制化富客户端）

   （1）富客户端软件本身——teamcenter8.

   （2）The Java software development kit （sdk）

（3）The Eclipse integrated development environment (IDE).

         能够富客户端客制化：

         一旦安装了必须的前提，不需要进行任何操作就能进行富客户端客制化。

     配置富客户端客制化：

        一旦安装了前提和安装了eclipse IDE，不需要进行任何配置。

2理解eclipse富客户端平台

teamcenter富客户端宿主于eclipse 富客户端平台（RCP）框架。RCP是一个通用目的的应用程序框架，通过使用插件，提供了对模块化和基于可扩展的组件开发的强烈的支持。
