Reverse Integer
Given a 32-bit signed integer, reverse digits of an integer.
Example 1:
Input: 123
Output: 321
Example 2:
Input: -123
Output: -321
Example 3:
Input: 120
Output: 21
Note:
Assume we are dealing with an environment which could only store integers within the 32-bit signed integer range: [−2^31, 2^31 − 1]. For the purpose of this problem, assume that your function returns 0 when the reversed integer overflows.
Submissions:
class Solution {
public int reverse(int x) {
int result = 0;
while (x != 0)
{
int low = x % 10;
result = result * 10 + low;
x = x / 10;
}
return result;
}
}
Solution:
class Solution {
public int reverse(int x) {
int result = 0;
while (x != 0)
{
int low = x % 10;
int newResult = result * 10 + low;
if ((newResult - low) / 10 != result)
{ return 0; }
result = newResult;
x = x / 10;
}
return result;
}
}
