I've been working in a project and laterly I've put it into a team project with Git in Team Foundation Service Visual Studio. And I will introduce you what I've done for importing existing projects in TFS Service. This may helps if you want to move your projects into a TFS Service on cloud.
First of all, you need to create a team project in your TFS Server. You will choose the project name, development method and version control.
Once you click "Create project", the project will be created on your server.
Once the project is created, you need to launch your visual studio and connect to your TFS. And then clone your project to local repository.
Once the clone is finished, you need to create a blank solution. You need to check "Add to source control".
Now what you need to do is just importing existing projects in this solution. And you commit your changes when the importation is finished.
After the commits, don't forget to "synchronize" your solution with TFS.
When you've done all of the previous steps, your projects are on the cloud, and you can upload your changes and download the latest version of them wherever you are.
I hope this article can do help to you! Enjoy coding!
