裘老师翻译的中文版实在晦涩,无奈之下只能去啃原版。看过之后发现对自己来说,虽然读得慢,但是英文版比起中文版更好理解一点。

Section 1 consists of three chapters.Chapters 1 through 3 give an overview of the C++ programming language, the key programming styles it supports, and the C++ standard library.
There are some notes I've marked in the book.
- The most important thing to do when learning C++ is to focus on concepts and not get lost in language-technical details.
- I assume that your purpose in learning C++ is not simply to learn a new syntax
for doing things the way you used to, but to learn new and better ways of building systems. - It follows that you will be using C++ – often for building real systems – before understanding every language feature and technique.

- You are not going to get it right the first time. Experiment!
Actually, you can find the introduction of the feathers of the C++ programming language everywhere in this book.
