Greetings all.
A week or two after upgrading Fedora to a new release, I always do a "yum update" and get hundreds of new / updated packages. This has always worked in the past, but doesn't work now.
I get the list of 797 packages (comprising 1.5 GB), and when I tell it to install, I get this error:
Public key for lame-libs-3.98.2-3.fc11.x86_64.rpm is not installed
When I run the command again, specifically excluding lame-libs, I get this error:
Public key for rpmfusion-free-release-11-1.noarch.rpm is not installed
And so on. I keep excluding packages, and I get the same "Public key ... is not installed" error for some other package.
I have run the following, but nothing seems to change:
yum clean all
rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db*
rpm --rebuilddb
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Tom
try:
yum update rpmfusion-free-release --nogpgcheck
then
yum clean all
then
yum update
