JOB DESCRIPTION : ClearCase Administrator (Senior / Level 3)

Report to Global Application support team leader to support engineering ClearCase System in China.

Familiar to ClearCase architecture and daily operation.
At least 3-5 years ClearCase working experience.

Below list the responsibilities.
* Servers monitoring
* The new version will be above 7.1.0.
* Management/Administration of approx. 250+vobs
* Creation of new vobs and pool splitting
* Replica creations.
* Vob/View tag creation for different regions
* Transfer of VOB (if disk space problems)
* Check out/check in issues.
* Config spec issues.
* Vob/view Mounting issues.
* Monitoring/Management of the VOB sync between the different sites
* Log files monitoring for Clear case and Multi site
* Launching & Closing of clear case service
* Management of Clearcase license, registry, Vob/View servers
* Clearcase Client Management
* Clearcase Scheduler Management
* Shipping Server Management
* Monitoring incoming/outgoing bays
* Vob archival
* Clearcase License Management
* Removal of corrupted vobs/replicas
* Clearcase Access Management for users (owner/group/directory * Permissions)
* Server issues. checking all clear case process and log files
* General Clear Case Maintenance.
* Monitor for synchronization issues.
* User Check in / Check out issues.
* Permission problems or other Clearcase error.
* Replication Requests (Export and Import)
* New replica creation.
* Mastership issues.
* Assist integrator with local issues if possible.
* General usage questions.
* Account request (Contacting new user - Gathering information
related to new account and forwarded to Windows AD and Unix team.)
* Local Policies and procedure for developers
