module NavigationHelpers

# When /^I go to (.+)$/ do |page_name|
#
# step definition in web_steps.rb
#
def path_to(page_name)

when /^the home\s?page$/

# Add more mappings here.
# Here is an example that pulls values out of the Regexp:
#
# when /^(.*)'s profile page$/i
# user_profile_path(User.find_by_login($1))

else
begin
page_name =~ /^the (.*) page$/
path_components = $1.split(/\s+/)
self.send(path_components.push('path').join('_').to_sym)
rescue NoMethodError, ArgumentError
raise "Can't find mapping from \"#{page_name}\" to a path.\n" +
"Now, go and add a mapping in #{__FILE__}"
end
end
end

module HtmlSelectorsHelpers
# Maps a name to a selector. Used primarily by the
#
# When /^(.+) within (.+)$/ do |step, scope|
#
# step definitions in web_steps.rb
#
def selector_for(locator)
case locator

when "the page"
"html > body"

# Add more mappings here.
# Here is an example that pulls values out of the Regexp:
#
# when /^the (notice|error|info) flash$/
# ".flash.#{$1}"

# You can also return an array to use a different selector
# type, like:
#
# when /the header/
# [:xpath, "//header"]

# This allows you to provide a quoted selector as the scope
# for "within" steps as was previously the default for the
# web steps:
when /^"(.+)"$/
$1

else
raise "Can't find mapping from \"#{locator}\" to a selector.\n" +
"Now, go and add a mapping in #{__FILE__}"
end
end
end

# TL;DR: YOU SHOULD DELETE THIS FILE
#
# This file was generated by Cucumber-Rails and is only here to get you a head start
# These step definitions are thin wrappers around the Capybara/Webrat API that lets you
# visit pages, interact with widgets and make assertions about page content.
#
# If you use these step definitions as basis for your features you will quickly end up
# with features that are:
#
# * Hard to maintain
# * Verbose to read
#
# A much better approach is to write your own higher level step definitions, following
# the advice in the following blog posts:
#
# * http://benmabey.com/2008/05/19/imperative-vs-declarative-scenarios-in-user-stories.html
# * http://dannorth.net/2011/01/31/whose-domain-is-it-anyway/
