Minolta X700 Power Grip 2 360PX + IR-1 transmitter + IR-1 receiver + Cable FB + Cable OC + Cable MD

 Thanks for looking. Offered for sale is the complete base Minolta X-700 MPS System as depicted in the gallery picture from the original MPS sales brochure. The only difference between this system and the one in the picture is the one I am selling has the top of the line Auto 360 PX flash and not the Auto 280 PX shown. The Minolta MPS system was at the technical apex of early 1980s film photography with the X-700 being the 1982 winner of the coveted European Camera of the Year award. It took me several years to collect all of the parts of this system and I doubt I could repeat the process as some of the rarer pieces were found as the result of dumb luck. At the heart of this listing is probably the best Minolta X-700 camera you are likely to find. It comes in its original box with original owner's manual and when I found it it had a half exposed roll of film in it from who knows when but it was probably the only film ever in the camera. The camera is completely clean and flawless. Nonetheless, given its age it has just been completely serviced as follows: 

• Capacitors replaced.
• Power plates cleaned.
  
• Shutter unit lubricated and adjusted.
• Release magnet cleaned.
• Run time adjusted.
• Winding mechanism lubricated.
• Light meter calibrated.
• Exposure adjusted.
• Mirror cushion replaced.
• Light seals replaced.
• Viewfinder and prism cleaned.

In addition to the camera, you will receive the following:

• Minolta Multi Function Back in its original box with owner's manual and two fairly fresh CR1/3N cells.
• Minolta Motor Drive 1 with cable socket cap (rare) and owner's manual.
• Minolta Auto 360 PX flash unit in fitted case with three extra flash cables and an extra flash lens and owner's manual.
• Minolta IR-1 transmitter in fitted case with owner's manual.
• Minolta IR-1 receiver in fitted case with owners manual, connecting cord IR-1(C) and bracket for attaching the unit to Power Grip 2
• Minolta Power Grip 2.
• Minolta Cable FB to connect the Multi Function Back to Power Grip 2 for programmed flash photography (extremely rare).
• Minolta Cable OC to connect the X-700 camera hot shoe to the Power Grip 2 to enable the off camera flash unit.
• Minolta Cable MD to connect Motor Drive 1 to Power Grip 2 to enable the shutter release on Power Grip 2.
• MD Rokkor-X 50mm 1:1.4 lens with original lens cap which  is clean and smooth without any scratches, fungus, blade oil, dust, dents or dings. 

All of this equipment works as it is supposed to and is in good used condition or better. See the photos for for a better idea of the condition. Other than the batteries for the Multi Function Back, the gear will be shipped without batteries. Be prepared to to buy a large number of AA batteries and one 9V.
