实际上这篇Blog迟到了呵呵，在完成《Programming PHP》第二版的翻译后，我又开始了新书《PHP 5 Objects, Patterns, and Practice》的翻译。还是和电子工业出版社博文视点合作，译者有我、胡丹和BinzyWu。

《PHP5 Objects, Patterns, and Practice》在Amazon.com上被评为4.5星，而且网上对于这本书的评价都相当不错，比如这里、这里和这里。

本书的作者是Matt Zandstra，也就是我在2004年翻译并发表在《PHP&More》上的《PHP5的异常处理机制》系列文章的作者，这是一篇超长但非常精彩的文章，我们也由于可以看到作者在OO上的功底和写作上的才能，他同时也是SAMS《Teach Yourself PHP in 24 Hours》一书的作者。

Matt Zandstra在雅虎英国工作，有深厚的Java和OOP功底，同时又精通PHP，所以他写的这本书相信对所有希望了解PHP5面向对象开发的朋友会有所帮助。

我在04年翻译Matt的文章时，没有想到以后还会翻译他的书，也许这也是一种缘份;--)

这本书正如其名，介绍了PHP5在面向对象编程方面提供的支持、各种常见模式特别是企业架构模式的实现及最佳实践。

如果顺利的话，这本书的中文版应该会在5月份出版。

顺便说说，《Programming PHP》的样章很快就会发布到CSDN上供大家试阅。
