Cloud computing is the use of computing resources (hardware and software) that are delivered as a service over a network (typically the Internet).
Software as a Service (SaaS) , sometimes referred to as "on-demand software" or "hosted applications" , is a software delivery model in which software and associated data are centrally hosted on the cloud . SaaS is typically made available to customers over a network, typically the Internet, accessed by users using a thin client via a web browser.
Software as a Service allows organizations to access business functionality at a cost less than paying for licensed applications, since SaaS pricing is typically based on a monthly fee. Also, because the software is hosted remotely, users don't need to invest in additional hardware.
Software as a Service removes the need for organizations to handle the installation, set-up and maintenance.
