问题描述:
Given a binary tree, determine if it is height-balanced.
For this problem, a height-balanced binary tree is defined as:
a binary tree in which the depth of the two subtrees of every node never differ by more than 1.
Example 1:
Given the following tree [3,9,20,null,null,15,7]
:
3 / \ 9 20 / \ 15 7
Return true.
Example 2:
Given the following tree [1,2,2,3,3,null,null,4,4]
:
1 / \ 2 2 / \ 3 3 / \ 4 4
Return false.
解决方法:求出两端高度,比较是否相差大于1.代码如下:
/**
* Definition for a binary tree node.
* struct TreeNode {
* int val;
* TreeNode *left;
* TreeNode *right;
* TreeNode(int x) : val(x), left(NULL), right(NULL) {}
* };
*/
class Solution {
public:
int height(TreeNode *root, bool &ans)
{
if (!root) return 0;
int h1 = height(root->left, ans);
int h2 = height(root->right, ans);
if (abs(h1 - h2) > 1) ans = false;
return 1 + max(h1, h2);
}
bool isBalanced(TreeNode* root) {
bool ans = true;
height(root, ans);
return ans;
}
};
