WithVoiceOver activated, you touch an icon once to select it, then VoiceOverannounces what you've touched, and then you double-tap the icon to activate it.

1. Hold the iPhone in one hand, with the display facing you.
2. Press three fingers together on your other hand.
3. Drag the three fingers together simultaneously across the iPhone'smulti-touch display to scroll. Disable VoiceOver
4. Press the "Home" button on the iPhone to go to the"Home" screen. Touch the "Settings" icon to select it, andthen double-tap "Settings." Touch "General" to select it.Double-tap "General."
5. Drag three fingers upward on the screen to scroll down until you see"General." Touch "Accessibility" to select it. Double-tap"Accessibility."
6. Touch "VoiceOver" to select it. Double-tap "VoiceOver."The VoiceOver settings screen appears. Touch the "VoiceOver" optionto select it. Double-tap the VoiceOver option to set it to "Off." Tap"Accessibility" at the top of the display to go to the previousscreen.
7. Tap the "Triple-Click Home VoiceOver" option if you want totoggle VoiceOver on and off by pressing the "Home" button three timesquickly. Tap the "Toggle VoiceOver" option to select it. Press the"Home" button once to go back to the iPhone's home screen.
