Chinese new year in America

First blog: Chinese New Year

 

Today is the last day of 2008, I spent Chinese new year in America this year. I am very sad that I can not spend the festival with my family ,I miss you, I think you must miss me too.  Since I am in America, I should find something to do. Fortunatly, Kelly,my colleague invited me to attend the Chinese new year party, it is a very special festival for me.

 

Some actors were singing and dancing, although they are not professional, but very interesting, they were enjoying themself, they dispatch red bag for all the kids under 12 age. Some American boys don't know what is it inside the bag, so they are very eagar to open the bag to check, finally, they saw one dollar inside, they are very exciting.

 

 

Finally, all the peopen can do what they want, there are some games, like take crystal ball with chopcsticks, throw toy to small holes,...., they can get some prizes if they win the game, then they can change into some toys award. All the people are happy, I am happy too.

 

I like the style to spend the festival together, it is very relaxation. Great day!
