LeetCode 434. Number of Segments in a String

Count the number of segments in a string, where a segment is defined to be a contiguous sequence of non-space characters.

Please note that the string does not contain any non-printable characters.

Example:

Input: "Hello, my name is John"
Output: 5

方法：直接扫描。

    public int countSegments(String s) {
        int count = 0;
        int prev = 0;
        for(int i = 0; i <= s.length(); i++) {
            if (i == s.length() || s.charAt(i) == ' ') {
                if (prev < i) {
                    count++;
                }
                prev = i + 1;
            }
        }
        return count;
    }
}
