Perl debug in eclipse

 

1.下载并安装windows下的Perl ActivePerl,最好是5.8，或者之后的版本，参考  http://www.epic-ide.org/faq.php#debug

 

2.Eclipse中安装EPIC，使Eclipse具有编辑Perl的功能:
Help->Software Update->Find and Install: select for new features to install.
name:EPIC
new remote site 中填入http://e-p-i-c.sourceforge.net/updates/testing。finish.

在windows->Preference中，Perl EPIC中，填写Perl执行脚本的目录，Perl executable: "C:/Perl/bin/perl.exe"

 

3.只有安装padwalker，Eclipse调试Perl的时候才能看到变量的值：
运行Perl Package Manager。Edit->Perferences->Respositories中填入http://www.bribes.org/perl/ppm/。然后安装padwalker。

命令行运行： ppm install PadWalker

 

4. 建工程。You can then create a Perl project by selecting File > New > Project, Perl > Perl Project. Then it is best to switch to the Perl perspective using Window > Open Perspective > Other..., then selecting Perl. You can then add a perl file using File > New > Perl File, and, once you have added content, running by right-clicking on the file and select Run As > Perl Local. Note that the console will not open automatically if the program that you are running sends output to the console. 

 

5. 使用 正则表达式工具。 To use the Regular Expression tester, open the Regex view by selecting Window > Show View > Others... then EPIC > RegExp 

To use the debugger, you need to switch to the Debug perspective. It is possible to use the debugger without installing PadWalker, but in this case local variables won't be shown.
