- apache2

- php5

- apache2-modphp5

How to install kohana

0. copy 'kohana' to '/var/www' or just create soft link

  - ls -s 'your/kohana/locatoin' /var/www/kohana

1. edit 'application/bootstrap.php'  -> 

 -  change 'base_url' to the location of 'kohana'\

 -  change Timezone

2. make 'logs' and 'cache' writable

  - chmod ugo+w -R logs

  - chmod ugo+w -R cache

3. open "http://localhost/kohana/index.php" to verify if installation is ok

4. if the index.php say the environment is ok, just rename or remove the install.php and start real work.

Lack of built-in RESTful supporting, which means you have to craft  your own implementation.
