FAXASSET - Asset Workbench API - FA_UNPLANNED_PUB.do_unplanned   SYMPTOMS When trying to perform unplanned depreciation on an asset, 1) using both depreciation limit and salvage value 2) and reserve is between recoverable cost and adjusted recoverable cost the following error occurs: ERROR ----------------------- APP-OFA-48338: You cannot perform this transaction on an asset whose normal life is complete but not yet fully reserved.   CHANGES   CAUSE The cause of this problem has been identified and verified in unpublished Bug 18891740: API:USER GETTING ERROR WHEN DOING UNPLANNED FOR ASSET USING SALVAGE AND DEPRN LM. SOLUTION 1.  Bug Summary Description: User getting error when trying to perform unplanned depreciation on asset 1) using both deprn limit and salvage value 2) reserve is between recoverable cost and adj rec cost Resolution: Corrected code validation to :fa_books.ltd_deprn >= :fa_books.adjusted_recoverable_cost   2.  Fixed File: R12.1, FA.B: patch/115/sql/ FAPUNPLB.pls  120.17.12010000.9 forms/US/ FAXASSET.fmb  120.208.12010000.119   R12.2, FA.C: patch/115/sql/ FAPUNPLB.pls 120.24.12020000.5 forms/US/ FAXASSET.fmb 120.299.12020000.14   3.  Recommended Patch: Apply Patch 19072027.
