In this Document Symptoms   Cause   Solution Applies to: Oracle Order Management - Version 11.5.10.2 to 11.5.10.3 [Release 11.5.10] Oracle Shipping Execution - Version 11.5.10.0 to 11.5.10.0 [Release 11.5.10] Information in this document applies to any platform. ***Checked for relevance on 20-Jan-2014*** Symptoms On 11.5.10.2 in Production: Find actual shipment dates are incorrect, it is taking initial pick up date instead of confirmed date. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR Expect the confirmed date to be the same as actual shipment date. BUSINESS IMPACT The issue has the following business impact: Due to this issue, users unable to proceed shipments. . Cause System working as designed. Shipping passes only the 'actual ship date' and not 'initial pick up date' value when delivery is created. Once the pick up stop is closed, 'initial pickup date' is copied with the value of 'actual departure date' of the pick up stop. Let us take an example Oracle Development stated that the issue is due to standard functionality . . Solution To implement the solution, Please note that application is working as designed. Following info explains how this works. Shipping passes only the 'actual ship date' and not 'initial pick up date' value when delivery is created. Once the pick up stop is closed, 'initial pickup date' is copied with the value of 'actual departure date' of the pick up stop. The  example: . Say, you have a delivery with 'pickup date' of 11-DEC. I confirmed this delivery(but I haven't closed the corresponding pickup stop) on 12-DEC. Then confirm_date on delivery is changed to 12-DEC. Then I close the corresponding pickup stop on 13-DEC. Now, the 'Actual Departure Date' on pickup stop changes to 13-DEC. At this point, the 'pickup date' on delivery is also changed to 13-DEC. Now, when Interface Trip Stop runs the Shipping passes the value of 'pickup date' (which is copied from 'Actual Departure Date' on pickup stop) to OM as actual shipment date. So, Shipping is indeed passing the correct value(although passing initial_pickup_date in WSHDDSHB.pls is confusin).
