Criteria for defect nomination during integration testing

A defect that meets one or more of the conditions below can be nominated:

1.      Stop ship crash defect.

2.      Data loss.

3.      Significant or total failure of entire feature.

4.      Failure to install/apply patch.

5.      Application compatibility issue, especially between the last release and this one.

6.      Severely affects customer perception of product quality.
