rmdir : remove directory
rmdir <dir>
pushd : push directory ( save where i am, then go here )
pushd i/love/qj
popd : pop directory ( takes the last directory you pushed and ”pops” it off, taking you back there )
New-Item : make an empty file
New-Item iloveqj.txt -type file
cp : copy a file from one location to another
cp iamcool.txt neat.txt
cp awesome.txt something/
cp -recurse/r something newplace
ps : the cp command will overwrite files that already exist
mv : Moving a File ( Moving files or renaming them,give the old name and the new name )
mv awesome.txt uncool.txt
mv newplace oldplace
more : View a File ( if the files hapage )
more test.txt
cat : Stream a File
cat test.txt
ps : the cat command will spew the whole file to the screen with no paging or stopping
rm : remove( delete ) a file
rm test.txt
rm something/awesome.txt
rm -r newplace
exit : exit terminal
exit
