Given a triangle, find the minimum path sum from top to bottom. Each step you may move to adjacent numbers on the row below.
For example, given the following triangle
[ [2], [3,4], [6,5,7], [4,1,8,3] ]
The minimum path sum from top to bottom is 11
(i.e., 2 + 3 + 5 + 1 = 11).
Note:
Bonus point if you are able to do this using only O(n) extra space, where n is the total number of rows in the triangle.
import java.util.List;
class num120 {
public int minimumTotal(List<List<Integer>> triangle) {
int length = triangle.size();
int[][] dp = new int[length][length];
dp[0][0] = triangle.get(0).get(0);
for(int i=1; i<length; i++){
for(int j=0; j<i+1; j++){
if(j == 0) dp[i][j] = dp[i-1][j] + triangle.get(i).get(j);
else if(j == i) dp[i][j] = dp[i-1][j-1] + triangle.get(i).get(j);
else dp[i][j] = Math.min(dp[i-1][j-1], dp[i-1][j]) + triangle.get(i).get(j);
}
}
int min = dp[length-1][0];
for(int i=1; i<length; i++){
min = dp[length-1][i] < min? dp[length-1][i] : min;
}
return min;
}
}
