pread64() pwrite64()
man pread64
NOTES
The pread() and pwrite() system calls are especially useful in multithreaded applications. They allow multiple threads
to perform I/O on the same file descriptor without being affected by changes to the file offset by other threads.
On Linux, the underlying system calls were renamed in kernel 2.6: pread() became pread64(), and pwrite() became
pwrite64(). The system call numbers remained the same. The glibc pread() and pwrite() wrapper functions transparently
deal with the change.

笔记
pread()和pwrite()系统调用在多线程应用程序中特别有用。它们允许多个线程
在同一文件描述符上执行I/O,而不受其他线程对文件偏移量的更改影响。
在Linux上,底层系统调用在内核2.6中被重命名:pread()变成了pread64(), pwrite()变成了
pwrite64()。系统调用号码保持不变。glibc的pread()和pwrite()包装器透明地执行函数
应对变化。
在一些32位体系结构中,这些系统调用的调用签名不同,原因如下
系统调用(2)。
