摘    要

盘式制动器具有重量轻、磨损小、维修方便等优点,在汽车新技术领域已被广为关注。欧美等发达国家和地区在商用车及挂车上已率先采用了盘式制动器。根据制动力的作用不同,盘式制动器分为双活塞和单活塞两种结构形式,由于单活塞盘式制动器具有结构紧凑、自重轻和高稳定性等优势,因而更适于在各种重型卡车、客车及挂车上配置。威伯科公司研发的单活塞盘式制动器,已广泛使用到MANVOLVOIVECO等著名公司生产的重型车辆中,并主要在欧、美洲及亚太地区实现140多万套的销量。新型单活塞盘式制动器从传统的双活塞盘式制动器结构中的脱颖而出,必将会成为汽车盘式制动领域的新宠。

汽车制动系统技术是由鼓式制动系统向盘式制动系统发展,主要原因是由于盘式制动器与鼓式制动器比较有以下优点:1、热稳定性好;2、水稳定行好;3、制动力矩与汽车运动方向无关;4、易于构成双回路制动系统有较高的可靠性和安全性;5、尺寸小,质量小,静热良好;6、更换衬块简单容易;7、衬块与制动盘之间的间隙小;8、易于实现间隙自动调整。

但是,目前在中高级轿车上前后轮都已经采用盘式制动器。不过,时下我们开的大部分轿车(如夏利、富康、捷达等)。采用还不完全是盘式制动器,而是前盘后鼓式混合制动器,这主要是出于成本上的考虑,同时也是因为汽车在紧急制动时,车身前倾,因此对前轮制动的要求比较大。一般来说,前轮用盘式就够用了,但是我们知道高速行驶的轿车,由于频繁使用制动。制动器的摩擦将会产生大量的热使制动器温度急剧上升。这些热如果不能很好散出,就会大大影响制动性能,出现所谓的制动效能衰退现象。制动器直接关乎生命,仅从这一点上,就应该改进正在使用前盘后鼓混合制动器的汽车。
