我是中国重庆大学的一名学生，近期准备就浮点数据无损压缩这个研究领域作一篇综述。

我对于您的ALP压缩算法十分感兴趣，并对于它的表现感到十分惊喜，我自己也尝试按您文章里的伪代码与思路复现您的方法，但是却发现并没有达到我预期的效果，我想一定是因为我的水平还不够，不足以完美复现文章中令人满意的效果。为了加以学习与改进，我尝试寻找您在文章中提到的ALP的C++开源代码,但令人沮丧的是，您的github中关于这一部分的开源代码依然没有上传与更新，显示

从您的文章发表至今（2023.10.26)，您还没有开源实验时的ALP代码，这令我十分苦恼。

所以，我请求作者在读完这封信后，可以尽快上传并更新您在正式实验，与其他代码进行对比时的ALP原代码，从而方便更多的人能够学习与理解您的ALP算法，并认识到ALP算法的优势。若一段时间后，您的github上依然没有更新，我便只好在综述中使用自己依据您文章中的思路来复现的代码来进行实验与比较。

Dear Author,

I am a student at Chongqing University in China .Recently,I am preparing to give a review on the field of lossless compression of floating-point data.

I am very interested in your ALP compression algorithm and am very surprised by its performance, I also tried to reproduce your method according to the pseudocode and ideas in your article, but found that it did not achieve the effect I expected, I think it must be because my level is not enough to perfectly reproduce the satisfactory effect of the article.

In order to learn and improve it, I tried to find the C++ open source code for ALP mentioned in your article, but it is frustrating that the open source code for this part of your github has not been uploaded and updated.

From the publication of your article to today (2023.10.26), you have not been able to open source the ALP code of the experiment, which troubles me very much.

Therefore, I implore that the author upload and update the original ALP code of your formal experiment and comparison with other code as soon as possible after reading this letter, so that more people can learn and understand your ALP algorithm and recognize the advantages of the ALP algorithm. If after a long time, your GitHub is still displayed as empty, I have to experiment and compare in the review using the code that I reproduced based on the ideas in your article.
