Fedora16下运行yum makecache时，遇到Another app is currently holding the yum lock...

今天装了个Fedora16-32bit的系统，想更新下源，先把/etc/yum.repos.d/下的文件做了备份，然后把fedora-163.repo和fedora-updates-163.repo拷到了/etc/yum.repos.d/里。

终端下

[root@localhost test]# yum makecache

Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit

 The other application is: PackageKit

...

然后就一直waiting for it to exit...

 

百度后

终端下

[root@localhost test]# rm -f /var/run/yum.pid
[root@localhost test]# yum makecache

开始建立一个缓存，以后用install安装软件时就在缓存中搜索，以提高速度

[root@localhost test]# yum update

开始更新系统
