Chapter 1. Overview
The JL5104B/JL5105B/JL5106B is a 4-port, 5-port, and 6-port Fast Ethernet (FE) switch , respectively,
with the JL5104B having 1 RMII interface, the儿5106B having 1 MII/ RMII interface, and the JL5105B not
having MII/RMII interface. They support Quality of Service (QoS) functions with 4-level priority queues .
that ensure the performance of a number of real-time network applications.
The JL5104B/JL5105B/JL5106B integrates a 2K-entry address lookup table and a 4-way associative hash
algorithm to validate input values, avoid hash collisions, and maintain forwarding performance. The
supported maximum length of a data packet is 4096 bytes. With three types of independent storm filters,
the JL5104B/JL5105B/JL5106B can filter packet storms. The JL5104B/JL5105B/儿L 5106B also integrates
an intelligent switch engine that solves the Head-of-Line (HOL) blocking problems.
The JL5104B/儿L 5105B/JL5106B supports 16 VLAN groups that can be configured as port-based VLANs
and/ or 802.1Q tag-based VL ANs.
